Donna Dobbelaere

Donna Lee Dobbelaere, 80, of Des Plaines, IL passed away peacefully on August 14, 2017. She was born on December 5, 1936 in Evanston, IL to Michael and Anne Dobbelaere. She grew up throughout the Chicago area attending St. Mary’s Catholic Church and School, enjoying most of her time with her sister and beloved cousins. She loved yarn rug hooking, watching soap operas and playing word search and card games. Donna was the beloved sister of the late Nancy (Arthur) Baker and Michael (Cindy) Dobbelaere; loving aunt to Beth (the late Benj) Staton, Karen Baker, Robert (Cindy) Baker and Teri (Will) DeBlase; great aunt to Dana (Chris) Weiche, Elyse (Matt) Fulton, David Staton, Patrick Baker, Jeffrey Staton, Adalynn DeBlase and Zachary DeBlase; great–great aunt to Corinne, Collin and Gracie; adored niece and cousin to many.

Visitation Sunday from 3-8pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (corner of Northwest Hwy/Rt. 14 at Rand Road) Des Plaines, IL. Prayers will be said Monday at 9am at the funeral home and proceed to St. Mary’s Church 794 Pearson Street, Des Plaines, IL. Mass at 10am. Entombment All Saints Cemetery.
