Dorothy A. Peters

Dorothy A. Peters (nee Bentkowski ) born October 6,1922 and departed this life November 3, 2013. Beloved wife of the late George Peters. They were married in February of 1950 until he passed away in November of 1987. She was born in Chicago and lived in the Logan Square neighborhood until July of 2004 when she moved to Asbury Court in Des Plaines, where she received excellent care for over 10 years. We especially wish to thank the care givers of Best Care. She was the daughter of Frances (nee Meisner) and Frank Bentkowski. She was preceded in death by her sisters Irene (William) Holty, Loretta Ustaszewski, Eleanor (Grover) Hodges, Clara Bentkowski and by brothers Conrad (Helen), Florian (Esther) and Leonard Bentkowski. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews cousins and friends. She went to school at St. Stanislaus Kostka parish,and later was very active for many years at St. Hyacinth parish. She was a crossing guard for the City of Chicago in the Logan Square area. Instate Thursday 10 am until time of mass 11 am at St. Zachary Church, 567 W Algonquin Rd, Des Plaines. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements by Oehler Funeral Home of Des Plaines.
