Douglas James Lauret

Visitation for Douglas J. Lauret will be from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. Sunday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Interment will be private. Born April 11, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wis., he died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, in Chicago. Douglas was an attorney, a member of the Chicago Bar Association, and an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and Marquette Law School. He was very active in Des Plaines community baseball. He was the loving husband for 27 years of Carol (nee Palm); dear father of Kyle (Natasha) Lauret, Candi Lauret and Jeffrey Flack; cherished grandfather of Kenneth Flack; beloved son of Ruth and the late Ralph Lauret; fond brother of Arnold and the late Ronald Lauret; and proud uncle of many nieces and nephews.
