Edwin Leo D'Souza

Edwin Leo D’Souza, 77, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 in Park Ridge, IL. He was born on September 26, 1946 in Mangalore, India to Thomas and Marceline (D’Melo) D’Souza. Edwin married Mable B. Roche on December 29, 1977 in Mangalore, India.

Edwin is survived by his wife, Mable; son Anil D’Souza; grandson Arthur D’Souza; siblings Stella D’Souza and Maria Louisa Sequeira; nieces and nephews Jerald (Vanry) D’Souza, Laveena (Edward) D’Souza, Maria D’Souza, Laurella (Eddie) Ozsanski, Melvin (Laura) D’Souza, Flavia Ritesh Sequeira, Reema Roche, Alwyn (Celine) D’Souza, Anthony (Janet) D’Souza, Jane (Stany) Pinto and Pushpa M. (Alfred) Rodrigues; great nieces Amline D’Souza Adline D’Souza, Melanie D’Souza, Martha D’Souza, and Makiala D’Souza; great nephews Alester D’Souza, Christle Pinto, Clarissa Pinto, Amruth D’Souza, Jadon D’Souza, Melwyn D’Souza, and Matthew D’Souza; great-great niece Nadia and nephew Aidan; siblings-in-law Walter (Neela) Roche, Dora Roche, Ida Roche, Sylvia Roche and Mercy Roche. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Julien D’Souza, John D’Souza and Sr. Irene D’Souza and sibling-in-law Avi Roche.

Edwin enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He was an active member of his church.

On Monday, May 13, 2024, we will be meeting at Saint Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 8149 W. Golf Rd. Niles, IL 60714 for the funeral mass, which will start at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
