Panayiota Karabetsos, 85 of Chicago, Illinois was born on November 17th, 1937 to the late Athanastasios Sarantopoulos and the late Stamatina (nee Kolaras) Sarantopoulos and passed away Sunday, March 26th, 2023. Panayiota was the beloved wife of the late Bill Karabetsos: loving mother of Jeannie (John) Angelopoulos, Andy (Evelyn) Karabetsos, Teddy Karabetsos and Debbie (Steve) Evangelou; devoted YiaYia of Angelo Angelopoulos, Nicole (Aron) Rushing, Elizabeth Karabetsos, Liz Karabetsos, Shelly Karabetsos, Bill Karabetsos, Susan (Graem Menzer) Evangelou and Patricia Evangelou; caring great grandmother of Ashley and Alex Rushing; fond sister of the late Aggeliki Moulopoulos.
