Frances T. Kelly

Frances T. Kelly (aka Aunt Fran) age 97, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024. Fran was born in Chicago IL to the late Loretta (Keough) & Christopher Kelly. She moved to Des Plaines in 1980 where she attended St. Zachary Parish, then resided at Church Creek retirement community since 2017.

Fran spent over 30 years as a bookkeeper, retiring from the law office of Sachnoff & Weaver. In addition to spending time at the family cottage in Wisconsin, Fran traveled to Europe and Alaska, and enjoyed regular trips to Arizona with family and friends. And for decades she hosted and coordinated the Kelly family Christmas party.

Fran was preceded into heaven by her sister Lorraine, brothers John (Delores), Raymond (Jackie), Joseph, sisters-in-law Christine and Marianne and nephew James Kelly. She is survived by her brother Bernard Kelly. She will also be missed by nieces and nephews John, Pat, Jerry, Joe, Mark, Judy, Susie, Tom, Kathy, Chris, Mary, Carol, Paul, Ed, Dave, Bob, Meg and Tim, plus 37 grandniece's and nephews, and 22 great grandniece's and nephews.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation and funeral service for Frances that is being held on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at St. Zachary Parish, 567 West Algonquin Road, Des Plaines IL with a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am and a funeral mass at 11:00 am. Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fran’s honor to one of her favorite charities, or a charity of your choice.
