Frances Lucille Thiele

Fran lived a long and full life. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and animals. Celebrations of birthdays or accomplishments were an excuse to be at Fran’s house to celebrate. New recipes were often on the menu, and she loved sharing her dishes with everyone. A dedicated administrative assistant for 30 years of what later became Pace Bus, Fran was one of a kind and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Born May 14, 1928, to the late Richard Stahler and the late Ruth Stahler (nee Hogstrom), she was the cherished mom of Kay (Bill) O’Grady and Leslie (Thommy) Penna and dear aunt of Amy (Gary) Andrews and Beth (Walt) Horsfall.

Visitation Monday, September 29, 2025, 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Interment Ridgewood Memorial Park, 9900 North Milwaukee Avenue, Des Plaines.
