Fred A Janicki, 87 of Des Plaines. Fred was the beloved husband of the late Jeanette nee Fairfield; loving father of Stephen Janicki, John (Valerie) Janicki and Karen (Bruce) Janicki-Sorensen; caring grandfather of Jason (Alethya), Eric, Rachel, and Jonathan; dear brother of Ted Janicki, Jenny (Bob) Herdzina and the late Richard (Helen) Janicki; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Fred was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 3579 in Park Ridge. Visitation Friday from 3-9 pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., (corner of Northwest Hwy/Rt14 and Rand Rd), Des Plaines, IL. Funeral Saturday 9:15 am from chapel to St. Stephen Church, 1880 Ash St., Des Plaines, IL mass 10 am. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Robert H.
