Gino Romozzi, 98, of Arlington Heights was born July 13, 1913 in Italy to the late Domenico and Maria (nee Ianni) Romozzi and passed away Feb. 9, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Gino was the beloved husband of the late Caterina nee Lappa; loving father of Domenico A. (Lucia) Romozzi, America (Antonino) Avallone, Maria (Nicholas) Buttitto, Olga (Nicholas) Dokman and Enzo (Lucille) Romozzi. Cherished grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 18. Gino was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday Feb. 13, 2012 from 3-9 PM at Oehler Funeral Home 2099 Miner Street (corner of Northwest Hwy/Rt. 14 and Rand Road) Des Plaines. Mr. Romozzi’s funeral will begin with a visitation on Tuesday Feb. 14 from 9 AM until time of funeral mass 10 AM at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum.
