Harold “Packy” Packer of Niles, formerly of Harwood Heights, passed away April 19, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Ruth nee Olson; dear father of Cheryl (James) Riga, Bryan (Tracy) Packer and Robert (Georgina) Packer; loving grandfather of Alex, Kalei, Max, Kanani and Lily; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his siblings, Sidney, Betty and Mildred Packer. Visitation Sunday from 3-8pm at the Oehler Funeral Home 2099 Miner St., (Northwest Hwy./ Rt. 14 at Rand Rd.) Des Plaines. Funeral service Sunday 3pm , also at the funeral home. Interment private.
