Services for Jane S. Fischer (nee Schalk), 90, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at Lord of Glory Lutheran Church, 607 W. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, with Rev. Brian Davies officiating. She will lie in state from 1 p.m. until the time of the services. Burial will be Monday, at 11 a.m. at Ridgewood Memorial Park, 9900 Milwaukee Ave., Des Plaines. Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Born Feb. 5, 1923, in Des Plaines, she passed away Oct. 15, 2013, in Libertyville. She was the wife of the late Junius K. Fischer; mother of Philip (Marcia), Thomas (Jean) and David (Lee) Fischer; grandmother of Emily, Ericka, Annalise, Jack, Rebecca and Amanda; sister of Carl (Noel) Schalk; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lord of Glory Lutheran Church.
