Joan M. Helmer, 51, of Arlington Heights was born December 31, 1962 to the late James and Doris Helmer and passed away April 23, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Joan was the cherished sister of John (Susan) Helmer, William Helmer, Ellen M. (Robert) Helmer Sneider, Ann M. (Matthew) Helmer Glassmaker, James Helmer and the late Thomas (Katherine) Helmer. Visitation will be Friday, April 25, 2014 from 4-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street (Northwest Highway/Route 14 and Rand Road) Des Plaines where funeral service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
