Joong Shin Kwon passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 72.

Joong Shin was the beloved wife to Young Woo Kwon; loving mother to Michael (So Hyun) Kwon, Helena Kwon; dear grandmother to Drake Kwon.

Visitation will be held at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL, on March 11, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a Funeral ceremony from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the same location.
