Kathy was born on March 1, 1953. Throughout her life, she was the true definition of kindness. A woman of immense patience and grace, Kathy had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued, welcome, and loved. She had a gift for making people feel better simply by listening, talking, and being present. She had a vibrant spirit, loved to plan a party, and could often be found reading or enjoying the peaceful surroundings of her Wisconsin home.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, a beloved friend to all, and a deeply loving mother and grandmother. She treasured every moment spent watching her grandkids grow, celebrating their milestones, and creating lifelong memories with them, especially their annual family reunion up north.
Kathy is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony "Tony" Kobrinetz; her three loving daughters, Kimberly (Matthew) Ryon, Colleen (Christopher) Stack, and Carrie (Zach) Malone; her six cherished grandchildren, William Patrick Ryon, Caroline Reagan Ryon, Ella Kathleen Stack, Clare Elizabeth Stack, Macie Faye Malone, and Callum Anthony Aaron Malone; her dear brother, Thomas (Pam) Dimond; her nieces and nephew, Shannon, Brittany, and Brian Dimond; and a large community of extended family and lifelong friends who already miss her dearly.
Visitation Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 3pm until 8pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL. Visitation Friday, August 28, 2026, from 9:30am until 10:30am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela Street, Barrington, IL followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial.
