OBITUARY

Kerry Susan Nicioli

October 18, 1964May 25, 2020

Kerry Susan Nicioli passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at the age of 55. She was a loving wife and mother. Kerry was born on October 18th 1964 in Torrance Ca. to Norman and Betty Galloway. On May 18, 1985 she married Bob Nicioli. They raised one daughter, Stephanie. Kerry was so much to us. Our wife, our mother, our sister, our aunt, our co-worker and our friend. Truly a kind and loving person, who never hurt anyone's feelings. Kerry provided all the care of a loving and devoted mother. She was so proud of her daughter and all of her accomplishments, raising her into an incredible young woman. She loved her cats and was the best mamma cat too.

Although Kerry lived a simple life, she was dedicated and hardworking at a local manufacturing company for 21 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cats, loved going to street fests and trying new restaurants. Taking little day trips was something she enjoyed. A recent one to her favorite, Lake Geneva, for a tattoo of an infinity symbol with the initials B-S-K for our family.

Kerry was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Betty and her brother Michael. She is survived by her husband Bob and daughter Stephanie, sister Kristy, brother Brian, nieces Ashley and Samantha. Brother-in-law Dave, Tom (Tanya) and sister-in-law Linda. Nieces Nicole, Carly, Jessica and Taylor. Nephews Nick, Shane and Cody.

A celebration of life will be held at Oehler Funeral Home in Des Plaines, IL July 11, 2020 12pm to 6 pm.

Im very sad to hear Kerrys passing recently. She was a kind and loving person.I didn't get to see her a lot because Bob and Stephanie and her had moved from California to Illinois many years ago.I remember she had a great sense of humor and a love for people ,animals and life in general. In 1984 the year before Bob and her got married,I got to go camping with them at a place called Idyllwild,,Ca. in the San Bernardino mountains. We had a lot of laughs ,good times and the biggest pot of campfire beef stew that you could imagine.I remember how much her and Bob were in love.I also remember going to their apartment and having a great Pizza! Of course Bob ordered it with everything but the kitchen sink.As a person of faith,I do believe that we will see her again and we can thank God that we had the privilege of connecting with her ,loving her and enjoying memories with her.I live with my wife in Northern Nevada near Lake Tahoe and wish that her and Bob could've visited here with Stephanie. She will be with us in spirit always.God bless the Nicioli family and our great nation!

Steph and Bob, I am so sorry for your loss. Kerry’s death was sudden and such a shock. It seems Kerry has been in Nick and my life forever. My first trip to California was to see our granddaughter Stephanie, new born, for the first time. Kerry was so proud of her and such a loving mom all thru her life. Kerry was a quiet person but never failed to give her opinion in a kind way. Besides her family she loved her Cats and really all animals and creatures. She would never think of hurting anything or anyone. She was a good and loving and gentle lady and she will be tearfully missed by myself and her family and friends. Kerry we love you and hope you are having a reunion with Nick, John, Edgardo, your Mom and family. Until we meet again may you Rest In Peace and love in Gods arms.

I had the privilege to work with Kerry for many years. When you work with someone for that long they become more than just a co-worker. They become a Friend that shares stories life lessons & situations\experiences. Kerry was always on the front line in many work related situations with many different people and departments. Although overwhelmed at times we always found a way to laugh/joke about those overwhelming bad situations and it always made the time go by fast and the work get done! So basically, we were each other’s rock when needed! When I switched jobs she was one of the people you missed and will never forget! If you know Kerry and her demeanor not to mention as we referred to as her “California Humor” you get what I am saying! But if there is one thing I always remember the most about Kerry, is that big glow of light on her face and a BIG smile just anxious to show you her next new updated picture of Steph for her desk! Steph you made your Mom so proud of the person you have become and all your accomplishments. Words are difficult for me at a time like this to truly express my sympathy. However, that is why I rely on my memories! My Condolences ….

My dear sister, even though we weren't close these last few years, I love you and will miss you so much. Say hello to Mom, Dad, Michael, Mel, Shelly and all the rest who went before us. Give Twinkletoes a big kiss for me. Rest in peace.

I worked with Kerry for many years and we had a brother and sister type relationship, she could always be depended on and offered to help me if I was working on a special project for a customer that would take up a lot of my time, she is the only person that nicknamed me "Jefferson". She will be extremely missed.

I have so many fond memories of Kerry. One that comes to mind is, a day at work where we were in the conference room and something made us laugh so hard (not going to say what) but then our boss came in and asked what was so funny and we were laughing so hard we were crying. He pretty much asked us to knock it off but we just kept cracking up as the tears rolled down our cheeks. We lost control and it was hilarious, to us anyway. I'll cherish the 20 years I was fortunate enough to call you my friend. I love you!

Kerry had a very still peaceful nature about her. I always enjoyed spending time with her at family get togethers whether we were talking about our cats, gushing over our daughters (Kerry loved Steph so much and was so proud of her), or just sitting in a comfortable silence. I will miss seeing you friend!
Bob and Steph,I love you both so much!

Kerry was loyal. She worked hard and showed up every day regardless of what was in store for that day. She did her best in all she took on and was kind to everyone's path she crossed. I remember her at holidays dressing up at the office adorned in tinsel and all the Christmas goodies to have a little fun.
