To the family of Peggy George.

I am  honored to have known and bowled along side of Peggy in our league on Wednesdays for many years  and a few tournaments here and there.
I was not able to attend the memorial on Thursday.   Peggy was in my thoughts.

We know Peg from the bowling world. She just lights up the place when ever she walks in, she fun to talk with. so wonderful and such a positive soul. I will always remember her beautiful smile ! Our deepest condolences to Jim and the family. Rest in peace Peg.🙏🏽

I’m so grateful Peg was the kid I grew up with. I have so many memories that will always be in my heart. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. She was a great friend. Hear her laugh? See her smile?

My sincere condolences to Jim and the family.
Peg and I had some fun trips together. The Caribbean trips were the most memorable. We would hangout at the beach in the evenings ,until we couldn’t survive the mosquito bites anymore. Talking and laughing into the wee hours trying to solve the problems of the world.
Her beautiful smile could be sneaky at times especially when she would correct someone (at work) about their inappropriate behavior while smiling at the same time leaving them speechless lol.
Peg loved Jim so much .
These last couple of years we would have lengthy text conversations, one would ask why not just talk on the phone but it was what Peg wanted to do and I didn’t mind one bit. I will miss you dearly Peg, Rest in Heaven my friend

Peg loved Jim so much he was all she talked about.

I loved working with Peg ! Working one of our trips I found out she was also a bowler….. little did I realize how good she was !! Lol here I was bragging about my 147 average !!!
We became great friends and she even asked me to bowl on a tournament with them !!!
My dad was also a bowler and when I told him about Peg he would always always ask me if I was flying with the pro bowler ❤️
He got to meet Peg and she even gave him one of her bowling balls!!! He would brag about how he was given the ball from a pro bowler !!
Peg often asked about my dad too!
My dad passed at the age of 98, bowling with his favorite bowling ball till age 90 ❤️🎳❤️
They are probably together now, so whenever we hear thunder…. That is them hitting them pins !!!

Rest easy my sweet friend 

We’ve been neighbors for so many years. You always had  a smile and a friendly word. You had such energy and life. Karl and I always had that safe feeling that you were there for us in an emergency, that we knew you could be counted on to be there when we needed you. Rest. We miss you. 

I’ve not seen Peg for many years but I remember her well. We bowled, during the 80s, in the women’s Wednesday night bowling league at Thunderbird Lanes. Great bowler, very nice and the best was she was ahead of her time making bowling shoe slide covers! God took Peg too soon. I pray her family finds comfort with their precious memories.



I can't believe you're gone Peg. You were such a sweetheart-a lovely person, you always had that beautiful smile on your face. Rest well Peg. Until we meet again. 

Peg was always a joy to be around. Smiles and great fun vibes. Peg was a fierce competitor on the bowling lanes. A fantastic doubles partner where we a championship together. Memories I will never forget.  We laughed over Miller High Life's and have many good memoroes. She was a sparkle of light in everyone's lives she met. A light that will never burn forever in our hearts. Peg will be missed by many, forgotten by none.

We meet Peg and Jim at the Chicago ABT,  Peg always had a smile for everyone. It. was a really joy watching Peg bowl. Kathy and I will miss her as will many others.

OMG…so, so many memories beginning in  the early 1980s. Our friendship began at Thunderbird Bowling Lanes in Mt. Prospect where we enjoyed the competition and afterwards,  drinks in the bar.  I don’t remember what we laughed about, but boy, oh boy, did we laugh! Along with Trip and many others, we shared our love of bowling, respect for a good game well shot by an opposing teammate, and the value of great friendships made. 
  Peggy was a fiercely loyal friend, a super positive, honest woman and simply a joy to be around. To say she will be missed is an understatement. I love you, Peg~
