Marguerite "Dolly" Boettcher

Marguerite "Dolly" Boettcher of Mount Prospect. Services for Marguerite "Dolly" Boettcher (nee Schneider), 85, will begin with prayers at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14, at Rand Road), Des Plaines, IL 60016, and proceed to St. Emily Church, 1400 E. Central Road, Mount Prospect for Mass at 12 noon. Interment will be in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Born Feb. 13, 1927, in Colby, Wis., she passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in Arlington Heights. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Malek, Margaret (the late Thomas) Erwin, Walter Boettcher, Elizabeth (William) Bielanski, Theresa (Richard) Cordes, Paul (Mary) Boettcher, Geralyn (Kevin) Walsh, Mary Kay (Mark) Tambeaux and Ann Marie (Lisa Hempen) Boettcher. She was the cherished grandmother of 29 and great-grandmother of 27; fond sister of Sally Miller and Arla Mae Bogner; and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hubert; and her children, Cynthia (the late Wayne) Soph, Susan (William) Luebke and Joseph Boettcher. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Women's Center, 5116 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago, IL 60630.
