A proud born and raised Cincinnatian, Marian built a life of love that spanned generations and time zones. A career opportunity in the early 1960’s presented itself and Marian left her beloved Cincinnati for Chicago, where she and a colleague were asked to develop an administration system that paralleled the one she had been working on. It was an opportunity she could not pass up. While on a company ski trip, Marian met the love of her life, Barry. Together Barry and Marian built a loving home and family in Des Plaines. A lover of travel and an avid sports fan, Marian’s life was full of many passions. She loved her Chicago Cubs (except when they played the Reds) and Chicago Bears (except when they played the Bengals), her Christmas Village, tending to her garden and roses, her owls and cardinals, and spending time with her family and friends. But her greatest passion was being a grandmother. She relished their every activity and experience - her love for them is unmeasurable. Marian’s smile will be missed by all.
