Aunt Marie will definitely be missed, She was so lucky to have lived such a long and fulfilled life. My prayers go out to her.

I have always had the fondest memories of Great Aunt Marie because of a special connection we had; our birthday, August 14th. She and I would always talk about it during visits, and she would fill up the left side of my birthday card with more of a personalized message. It was our special connection. She is in my prayers.

One of my oldest and fondest memories is visiting Aunt Marie and Uncle Walley's house in Chicago. When the Lee sister's were little girls we would play in the basement behind the bar area, and also loved to play the piano. Aunt Marie and Aunt Dorothy were both my favorites. She will be greatly missed.

When my oldest son Sam was about 5, I have the most precious memory of him picking the oranges from Marie's backyard.  Then, Uncle Jim taught him how to make the perfect juice.  Marie was very hospitable and never missed a year, sending us a Christmas card.  She made some perfect cookies, I recall, too.  Blessings to all during this time of transition.

I enjoyed any time i got to see Aunt Marie. I know she is with my grandmother Dorthy having a good time right now in heaven

We enjoyed the slide show as well. I will always remember some of my summer vacations on Parkside.  They will always be cherished. She was always one of my mom's away from Detroit. Linda and I will always love her.

I am Maritta Fink's sister and although I only met Marie a few times I can say she was a fun lady.  We went on one trip to Las Vegas with her and had a great time.  I'm sure she will be missed by her family and friends.

Grandma Marie (a.k.a. Grandma Orange) will live forever in our hearts.  From age 18 to 37, I had the opportunity to live near my grandmother and/or with her on two occassions.  She was there for our marriage, the birth of our son, and two moves within Arizona.  Her door was always open, her home was spotless, and our stomachs were always full.  I'm happy my son and I were able to share the same grandmother for over 11 years.
