Marilyn T. Horejs nee Vanek, of Des Plaines; beloved wife of the late Gerald; dear mother of Terri (Mark) Mabes, Steve Horejs, Margaret (Brian) Fowler and Kathleen (John Seaman) Horejs; loving grandmother of Stephanie Horejs, Michelle, Jake and Jack Fowler; fond sister of Pat (Ralph) Lopatowski. Marilyn was born January 18,1938 in Chicago, she passed away July 26, 2013 also in Chicago. She lived in Des Plaines for over 50 years and was married to Gerald for 52 years. She worked as a customer service representative in the telecommunications industry for 40 years. She enjoyed traveling and took many cruises. Visitation Monday 3-9 pm at the Oehler Funeral Home 2099 Miner St. (Rt.14 / Northwest Hwy. at Rand Rd.) Des Plaines. Funeral Tuesday 9:15 am From chapel to St Stephen Church, Prospect at Pine Sts., Des Plaines. Mass 10:00 am. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
