  Hi Pete,  I grew up on Pacific Avenue and was a close friend of Rosemary's. (I practically lived at the Steinke house)  I even remember when you two started dating.  I am so sorry to hear of Mary Margaret's passing. She was always kind to me, was very vibrant and had a good soul.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Pete and Family,
I was very sorry to hear of Mary Margaret's passing. My deepest condolences to you all.

I worked with Mary Margaret as her assistant head nurse at Skokie Valley on 4C. I came home from her visitation Friday night so inspired by her courage. Seeing the pictures of her travels around the world was awesome. I knew she was always so happy to see and experience new places. I feel so lucky to have known and worked with her. She made 4C a unit that all nurses aspired to work on and where all physicians wanted their patients to receive their care. She taught all of so much about not only nursing skills, but also to be caring, generous & giving to our patients and their families. She made 4C not only a cohesive nursing unit, but a family that has built life long friendships. She lived life to the fullest and inspired all of us to do the same. Her spirit will live in all of us forever.

I will miss Mary Margaret.  Pete, Kyle, and Hillary, may God hold you in his arms during this difficult time.  I have worked with Pete for many years, and Mary Margaret would attend the company events with Pete.  She was so interested in anyone she met, and always made you feel special.  I am so thankful to have had a visit with her at the company's Royal Scot event in September.   A beautiful gift to me.  Yes, always, that lovely lady will be missed by all who knew her.

Mary Margaret's smile, attitude & perserverance have been an inspiration to all of us in Integrative Medicine.  Fridays will not be the same without seeing her & talking with her...such a gentle,caring woman.  Our prayers are with her as she rests in the arms of the Lord.
