Nancy Quarnstrom

Nancy Quarnstrom, nee Peterson of Des Plaines; born July 30, 1922 in Chicago, passed away August 21, 2015 in Des Plaines. Beloved wife of the late Edmund; dear mother of Robert (Janice) Quarnstrom, Ronald (Debra) Quarnstrom and Carol (Bruce) Pulaski; loving grandmother of Steve Quarnstrom, Jennifer (Michael) Craig, Rob (Stephanie) Quarnstrom Jr., Jillian (Jay) Apponte, the late Justin Quarnstrom, Lauren Pulaski and Alex Pulaski; proud great-grandmother of Steve Jr., Brylee, Blayse, Jayden, Abby and Alexandra. Nancy went to secretarial school after high school and worked as a secretary early in her life. After her marriage, she had many careers, including being a waitress at O’Hare airport, where she served many famous people. Visitation Monday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Hwy. / Rt. 14 at Rand Rd.), Des Plaines. Lying in state Tuesday 10:00 am until time of service, 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1177 E. Howard Ave., Des Plaines IL; interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.
