Eulogy for Momsie
Friends, loved ones and family. It is an honor and privilege for me to pay tribute to a very special , beautiful and beloved mother.
She was the rock of the family and was remarkable in so many ways. She lived her life to the fullest and touched so many people.
As I reached for the right words to express my thoughts about my wonderful mother, I remembered the many meaningful values that she had taught me throughout her life.
First and foremost, she puts God first. Just like our late Father, she values her faith more than anything. This is shown with how she handles problems. She would always say not to worry about problems, let God worry about them for you! The most remarkable character of her is her love for God. Just like my Dad, she was a true devote Catholic whose quiet faith guided her actions, words and deeds.
She loved her family profoundly and will do whatever it takes to help us achieve our dreams.
She was the happiest when she is surrounded by family. She always look forward to our annual family vacations.
She was a good friend to many. She would help anybody in need without asking anything in return.
I am so grateful that I was able to spend day and night with her when she was hospitalized . On her last night at the hospital after praying the daily rosary and not been talking clearly for 5 days, I kissed her forehead, said goodnight and told her I Love You. To my surprise, she responded with Love You! Those were her last words.Momsie, our loving mother, it is very hard to say goodbye, so we will just say so long. We will always remember you with respect admiration and love.
We know you are in a better place with our father,Popsie, son Rolly , and our Heavenly Father.
Thank you for sharing your life with us. I will miss you and will love you beyond forever.
May perpetual light shine on you! MAY ETERNAL PEACE AND HAPPINESS BE WITH YOU FOREVER.
Rest in peace my beloved mother! Love, Nelia

I will surely miss you Momsie, my Mom in Chicago! Thank you for counting me as your “adopted daughter” and good friend. I will miss our crazy chats in Ilocano when we talked about everyone and laughed our hearts out. You have lived a long ,happy & content life and you left us all with sweet memories to cherish in our hearts forever. You have always inspired me of your strength and humor and most of all , your wit and beauty. Rest now my beloved Momsie. You’ve done well.
