Richard Anthony Carlton, 73, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in Park Ridge, IL. He was born on April 7, 1950 in Chicago, IL to Pat and Mary Ann (Scaletta) Carlton. Richard married Ilene Hirsch on August 20, 1977 in Chicago, Illinois.
Richard is survived by his children Anthony (Jackie) Carlton and Laura (Don) Digilio; grandchildren Shane and Maverick; sister Toni Link; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Pat Carlton; mother Mary Ann Karagiannes; step-father Bill Karagiannes; siblings Michael Carlton and Terry Carlton; grandparents Anna and Anthony Scaletta.
Richard loved fishing, playing golf, visiting with his grandchildren, and cheering on the beloved Chicago Bears.
Friends and family will gather for a memorial visitation for Richard that will be held from 4 - 7pm with service following at 7pm on Friday, February 9th, 2024 at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. Interment will be private at Maryhill Cemetery.
