After we went to Uncle Richard's second wedding, I only saw him a few more times so it's been 35 or 40 years since I last saw him. But I have lots of warm and fun memories of him from my childhood, and teenage years. Since we were only 8 years apart, he was a fun older playmate. He and Dennie came to Itasca a lot for picnics and to play with us kids. And then we saw him during our many visit to our grandparents. Rest in peace, Uncle Richard.

I was deeply saddened when I heard of Richard's passing. I will miss his wry sense of humor, his wonderful holiday decorations & ties, but most of all, his kindness. Richard courageously fought the good fight. He is deeply missed by his IRS friends. šŸ’”
