passed peacefully on November 19, 2025. (devoted son of Viola & Norman Peterson (Martin), Beloved husband and best friend of Lorriane Racy Peterson for 70 years. Loving Dad of Larry (Jessie), Ron (Laurence), Susan (Daniel), Dean (Diane), Nancy (Joseph). Proud grandpa of Robert (Jayme), Brian (Mary), Brett (Jennifer), Nicholas, Daniel, Matthew, Racy, Emily & Hanna. Cherished Great grandpa of Derek/DJ, Jacob, Dominic, Cameron, John & Luke. Dear brother of the late Marilyn Tinkoff.

“Bob” was a WWII Navy Veteran; he continued his love for boating, spending time on the “Rusty Nail” a Christ Craft thirty-one-foot boat with family and friends. Special member rolls of The American Legion Honored Veterans Archives. Past Worshipful Master (1961) of Kelvyn Park Willing Lodge No.1075. Past Major Emeritus Company “D” Medinah Marching Patrol, Major of Medinah Marching Patrol, Past Potentate (1990) of Medinah Temple, Emeritus Board Member (11 years) of Shriners Hospitals for Children, St. Bernard Commandery No.35 Knight Templar (past Member), Royal Order of Jesters Court No.48 (Director 2007), El Hajj Caravanserai #1, Life Sponsor of the Knights Templar Eye Foundation, Inc., member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church (Park Ridge, IL).

Visitation will be held at Oehler Funeral Home from 4PM – 8PM Friday December 5th, (2099 Miner St., Des Plaines, IL.) Private Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery.
