Soon Dong Koh

고 순동 대길화 보살님께서 2022년 5월 20일, 향년 104세로, 나일스 요양원에서 작고 하셨기에 부고 합니다. 대길화 보살님은 1918년 1월 24일, 고정상님과 신상순님 사이에서 출생 하셨습니다.

Soon Dong is predeceased by her father, Jung Sang Koh, and her mother, Sang Sun Shin.

Soon Dong is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Connie Frydman, her son, Youngki Choi, her grandsons, Hunjin and Hunyoung Choi, and her granddaughter, Naomi Frydman.

고 순동님은 Connie Frydman 님과 최영기님의 사랑하는 어머니로; 최헌진, 최헌영, Naomi Frydman 자상하신 할머니로 평생을 사셨습니다.

Soon Dong enjoyed watching the news and historical Korean dramas, reading Buddhist Sutras and cooking.

뉴스와 사극 시청 하는것을 좋아하셨고, 천수경을 즐겨 읽으셨으며, 요리도 참 잘하셨습니다.

Cremation will follow at a later date. There will be no reception or wake due to COVID-19 precautions.

화장은 훗날 진행 됩니다. COVID-19 관계로 다른 모임이나 식사 대접은 생략합니다. 이해해 주시기 바랍니다.

A memorial service for Soon will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016.
