Through her daughter, Chris, I was privileged to know Miss Stella, although I never met her in person.

I learned of her many hardships and her fierce determination to succeed over obstacles on her path. Her deep love for her four children and their children was unbelievable. Her love of nature and particularly her garden brought great joy to her. I was touched by her compassion in helping sponsor people coming to America. A strong, loving, and compassionate lady. Her beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. Look up at the brightest star in the sky....that's Miss Stella watching over her wonderful family and friends.
