Steven Latson

Steven D. Latson, 84 of Des Plaines was born July 22, 1932 in Sagka, Greece to Demetrios and Vasiliki (nee Stavropoulos) Latson and passed away April 23, 2017 in Des Plaines. Steven was the beloved husband of Georgia (nee Manikas); loving father of Betty Latson, Connie Latson and Jim Latson; dear brother of George (Angela) Latsonas, Nancy Latsonas and the late Frank (Athina) Latsonas and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street (Northwest Hwy/ Rt. 14 at Rand Road) Des Plaines. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Friday, April 28 at 11:00 AM and proceed to St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E. Dempster Street, Des Plaines for funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment will be in Ridgewood Memorial Park Cemetery, Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church or the Hines VA Hospital, 5000 S. 5th Avenue, Hines, IL 60141.
