Thomas Michael Higgins, born Chicago, Illinois, December 11, 1956; died February 18, 2018. Tom was our very own comedian, who filled our family with laughter and love and passed away too soon. We will miss him. Son of Patricia Ann Higgins-Milstead (nee Sweitzer) and Robert Richard Higgins, survived by his siblings, Cathleen C. (Todd) Werner (nee Higgins), Robert S. Higgins, Richard F. Higgins, Mary P. Higgins, Ann E. Milstead; Santos Beauchamp, Virginia A. Ireland (nee Milstead), Thomas E. Milstead, and Joyce J. Milstead; nieces Shawna Higgins, Kristina Higgins, Michelle Ireland, Hannah Holly Milstead, nephews Dan Werner and Jeff Werner; Shawn Ireland, Matthew Ireland. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in his name to the American Heart Association at americanheart.org
A memorial visitation will be held March 3rd, from 1:00 p.m.to 3:00 p.m with the memorial service at 3:00 pm at Oehler Funeral Home 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016-4611; private interment at All Saints Cemetery.
