Tom S. Pappas, 84, of Prospect Heights. Beloved husband of Sylvia (nee Mandas); loving father of Helen (Steve) Panagopoulos, Dean, Sam, George (Kim), and Kathey (George) Papaioannou; dear grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 3; fond brother of Kalliroi (late Kosta) Gevezos, predeceased by 5 brothers and 1 sister and fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Tom was the founder of Market Square Restaurant in Wheeling. Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 4-9 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. Des Plaines, IL. Funeral Monday 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E. Dempster St. Des Plaines, IL. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Church.
