Valerie and I have been friends for over 22 years. Her laugh infectious, her smile, intoxicating. She and I battled in Golf, Billards and jokes… she beat me in all of them. I’d like to say I let her… my story, I’m sticking to it. One thing I do know, there’s not a day that goes by that she doesn’t cross my mind. I miss her, she is (was) one of my best friends I’ve ever had. 

The love of my life. The woman who has always exuded class. You taught me so much.  My Martha Stewart. I'm forever indebted to you for what you taught me. I'lll always think of and love you. 

Always loved having fun and laughing with Valerie over the years. What a fighter! 


Tom and I were terribly saddened to hear of Val’s passing. Whenever we saw Val, it was always a bright spot to our day. Val was beautiful inside and out, she always had that beautiful smile and cheery outlook. She will be missed by many.




Dear Val,
I miss you so much already. We had wonderful laughs celebrating birthdays, your cat, my doggies, our special language, a coona matata along with many made up words.  You were such a trooper to fight cancer. 

"Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts."

We came to know Valerie through her special friend Earl. Val was a loving and very kind individual. She made you feel so comfortable while in her presence. We'll never forget her loving spirit. She was truly a blessing and we mourn her transition.

We lost one of the Green Lake Gang. We all came together as youths and teens spending our carefree summers enjoying the lake; water skiing, swimming, and causing mischief. As we grew older, we continued with reunions recalling our past memories and creating new memories.
Valerie always provided laughs and enjoyment and was a friend to all. She will be missed, but she will always be in our hearts. 
The street light on the terrace that we all hung out together under has gotten dimmer.
