Virginia Campobasso

Virginia Campobasso, 97 of Des Plaines was born May 26, 1923 in Chicago to the late Sophie and Joseph Strobot and passed away January 21, 2021 in her family home. Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Fred N. Campobasso, loving mother of Fred (Mary) Campobasso and the late Carol (Dennis) Novak; devoted grandmother of Todd (Christine) Novak, Kevin (Jill) Novak, Geena, Jessica, Molly and Nick, cherished great grandmother of Reilly Novak and Caroline Novak; dear sister of her deceased siblings George, Raymond, Ervin and Eleanor Onisczuk; fond sister-in-law to Leonard Campobasso and the late Vera Campobasso and the late Edward Onisczuk; and wonderful aunt to the late Ken Nawrocki, Cheryl (Mike) Mayerck, Michelle (Paul) Zurlo and Lisa (Jim) Chu and all of their children.
