William L. “Bill “ O’Connell Sr. of Des Plaines, Veteran US Army Korea; born April 2, 1929, Bill enjoyed working, and he began working when he was only 12 and he continued until he was 80 years old, he passed away October 23, 2014 in Des Plaines. He was the beloved husband of Joyce nee Nolan for 58 years; dear father of Father Michael O’Connell, William (Linda) O’Connell Jr., Robert (Catherine) O’Connell and the late Patricia O’Connell; loving grandfather of Maria, Brandon, Rachel and William O’Connell; fond cousin of Rosemary Hauck.
