I will always remember Uncle Bill as one of the happiest and funniest people I know. But even more, I will never forget the random act of kindness he showed me when I was nine years old, that has stayed with me these past forty years. It was Christmas and he gave me a gift, the "John Denver and the Muppets Christmas Album." I loved that record back then, and still do today! But that's not why I have such a fond memory of that Christmas back in 1979. I remember that moment because of how Uncle Bill made me feel so special that day. His thoughtful gesture made me feel really loved. I think that's why it's stayed with me all these years. Every Christmas season since, I've played those songs and been reminded of my Uncle Bill and all the times he made us laugh and cry (from laughing, of course!), but even more, how special he could make you feel. Uncle Bill, you will be missed.

Bill,
Working for you for so many years, has been an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE!!! You were so kind and always had a cheerful smile, whenever I saw you!

I know how close you were to all of your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They will miss you terribly but the love that you all shared, will be in their hearts FOREVER! I send my deepest sympathy to all of them.

I will miss you very much but knowing that you are in a happy place, with no suffering, brings much comfort to my heart!

Until we meet again....
Much love,
Kathy
