Living 2 hours away from Grandma growing up really made me appreciate the time that we spent with her, whether it was her coming up to our house to visit for a few days or when we would go down to her house for the holidays or visit family. Grandma was always the nicest person to be around and I will miss being able to share laughs and joke with her as we did for so many years. Jen and I are glad we had such a close relationship with her and that Greyson got to know and spend some quality time with her. I know Grandma loved being able to see her great grandchildren grow up and Greyson could always count on her having some good toys to play with whether it was old trucks, tractors, or wagons. We love our Grandma and will always remember the good times we had with her.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss! I just found out. Barb was such a big part of my childhood and I will always remember her! I still cherish a gift she gave me for my high school graduation back in 1982! As I grow older it is so hard to see the pillars of our community leave us. I still remember like it was yesterday loosing Dave. Good memories I will never forget. Thank you, Barb, rest in peace.

What I will miss most about my Grandma was the special connection and relationship we always had. At a very young age she taught me how to play Euchre and would take it easy on me just enough for me to learn but was too competitive to just let me win. Although we lived miles apart and were years apart in age, I felt a closeness with her as you would with a childhood friend you grew up with. As I grew up and she grew older she taught me how to stay strong, work hard, and always treat others kindly. I will miss giving her a hard time and joking around with her because she was always quick to give it right back. If she could make such an impact on my life in the years I've known her I can only imagine the countless others she has helped along the way and what a truly wonderful person she was. I love my grandma and will miss her everyday.
