Barbara Jean Toma, age 84, loving wife of the late George Toma, passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 14, 2015. She is survived by five children: James Lawniczak, Judith Lawniczak (Dan Adams), Jeffrey Lawniczak, Jay Lawniczak (Diane), and Jonathan (Virginia Van Horne); 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, a sister and a brother, several nieces and nephews who remember her fondly as Kissy Aunt Barbara, as well as in-laws, neighbors, and friends.
Barb was a creative and accomplished artist; as a whittler she carved a wooden chess set, as a sculptor she formed many works of art in clay and then cast them in plaster or bronze. She also created many beautiful stained glass walking stones and gave them to people she loved.
She will be honored at a Celebration of Life Memorial on May 2, 2015.
