A life-long resident of Dexter, Kay was known by many as a kind, caring and people-loving woman, who spoke her mind and could joke with the best of them. She loved her ponies and horses, taking pictures, making photo albums and enjoyed playing euchre at the Senior Center. Kay was an active participant in her church activities – one of the highlights was being crowned Mardi Gras Queen. Kay helped raise her nieces and nephews and there are many families in Dexter who remember Kay coming to babysit with her red purse packed with candy for the kids and a big bottle of Pepsi for herself. We wish that everyone could have an Aunt Kay in their lives!

She was a wonderful lady. I've known her since I was a baby. Her sense of humor just about made everybody laugh, especially during the fish fries. She will be missed. Best condolences to the family.

Kay was a cousin who attended St. Joesph Catholic School with me, grades 1-8. She was a friend to everyone, one who definitely had a mind of her own, and a wonderful source for our family genealogy. Kay will be missed by all of the long time residents of Dexter. Rest In Peace Kay as I am sure you are surrounded in love by all of our deceased family!

Kay was a special person to all of us who were lucky to have her in our lives. From back to St. Joseph Catholic School days to the present, she was a true friend. Her Church and her family were her life. I miss her visits to my home. I know that she and my Chuck (they were cousins) are telling stories again in heaven. May she see the face of the Lord this day.

We were fortunate to have Kay as a neighbor, she spent many hours at our kitchen table playing cards and visiting. She made our childhood fun and will be missed.
