Christine Cox

Christine Anne Cox was born 11-28-64 along with her fraternal twin sister Carolyn Elizabeth Cox to Dr. Franklin Homer Cox and Audrey Irene Cox (Parks) in Kalamazoo, MI. Both twins were developmentally delayed. Chrissie had hydrocephalus and Carolyn had cerebral palsy and diabetes. Carolyn died at home of aspiration pneumonia when she was 30 years old. Chrissie died of aspiration pneumonia at University Living Memory Care Unit under the excellent care of Arbor Hospice.

Surviving her are her sister Jo Dolecki-Lane (Randy Lane); niece Bonnie (Todd) Brandstadt and their children Nicholas, Jackson, Cameron, Mollie & Ellie; nephew Michael Dolecki (deceased) and daughters Emma and Lila; and niece Kathryn Dolecki.

Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Village) in Dexter, MI on November 25, 2023. Chrissie’s favorite song was “You Light Up My Life” sung by Debbie Boone; and she lit up the lives of her family, friends and caregivers with her big smile and greeting of “I Love You”.
