David B. Gucker, age 56, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Harper Hospital in Detroit. David was born January 31, 1957, in Ann Arbor to Frank and Edna (Steinaway) Gucker. He graduated from Dexter High School in 1975 where he excelled at Track and Field, breaking school records for the 440 yard run. He also spent many hours after school working at his parents bowling alley in Dexter and was an avid bowler. After graduating, David went to Michigan Tech and studied engineering. He spent many years working as a truck driver and loved traveling the open road. David also enjoyed working on cars, being in nature, and NASCAR. He is remembered for his gentle heart and his desire to always help others in need. David was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Eva (Asa) Ennis; his brother and sister-in-law, Frank (Gretta) Gucker; and his nephew and niece, Matthew Gucker and Melissa (Gucker) Richard.
