Deborah Kay Luckhardt

August 29, 1953February 5, 2018

“We must let go of the life we had planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.” It is with great sadness that the family of Debbie (Murdock) Luckhardt announces her passing after a brief battle with cancer at home surrounded by family and friends, on February 5th, 2018, at the age of 64 years. Debbie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years, Richard and their children, Katrina and Krickett and Step Children, Kathy Koch, Lisa (Ben) Stacey, Scott, Dave (Pat) Kubicek and Joe Belleau. Debbie will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Taylor and Sabrina, and many Step Grandchildren and Great Step Grandchildren. By her sisters, Carol Krull, Jo (Roy Sr.) Radtke and Pat Murdock. Debbie will also forever be remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends. Debbie is predeceased in death by her Father and Mother Warren and Marge Murdock, her father-in-law Waldo Luckhardt, and her niece Angie Radtke. Debbie was a kind hearted and generous woman with a lot of love and advise to give. She grew up and resided in Dexter Mi surrounded by lots of family and friends. She was a Washtenaw Co. 4-H Leader for over 45 years and continued to support her Grandchildren and honorary Fair Grandchildren to this day. She loved animals especially her cows, and loved to watch her daughters and granddaughters work with Fair animals on her farm on cool summer evenings. She was an exceptional Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Debbie will be greatly missed and forever cherished in the hearts of anyone she touched. Debbie’s family would like to request that in lieu of Flowers family and friends consider making a Donation in Debbie’s name to the Washtenaw Co. 4H Youth Show where she spent over 50 years of her life every Summer, where her encouragement, spirit, and love always “Made the Best Better”.
