Edward Eddie F. McGranahan

Edward (“Eddie”) Frederick McGranahan, age 67, of Dexter, passed away at his home July 17, 2014 surrounded by family. Eddie was born July 24, 1946 to the late Marley McGranahan and Luella Hieber, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Michelle and Darlene. Eddie is survived by his son, Jason (Christina) Jackson of Saginaw; three granddaughters, Destiney, Ambrosia and Tobiana; sisters Denise Edwards, Wanda (John) Bishop, Rita (Randy) Bunch, Marcia Kipp and Lori (Scott) Krull; numerous nieces and nephews and long-time friend Paul Elmer who was like a brother to Ed.

The family would like to thank Michelle Krull, Eddie’s niece, for the loving care she provided and the management and staff of Arbor Hospice for their services during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, July 21st at Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel in Dexter . Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-7 p.m.
