
She was born June 14, 1926, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Bernard and Anna Leible.
Mrs. Snellgrove has been a resident of the Dexter area since 1954 and was a homemaker for many years. She worked previously as a secretary and was active with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, St. Joseph Catholic Church and school and volunteered for the March of Dimes. She enjoyed spending time at Silver Lake in the summer and traveling.
On June 12, 1945, she was married to Jack Snellgrove in New York City, New York
She is survived by her sister Ruth Ehrenberg, her children Brian (Pamela) Snellgrove and Barry (Sue Harvey) Snellgrove, of Dexter, Joni Snellgrove of Dillingham, Alaska, Judi Stoll of Chelsea and Juli (Tony Spagnuolo) Snellgrove of San Francisco, California; grandchildren, Brandy Snellgrove and Sherry (Ruel) Beck, Tyler and Jillian Shade, Jaclyn and Drew Snellgrove, Darcy, Jacob and Hadley Stoll; step-grandchildren Jillian (Cory) Mann and Jennifer (Bill) Crosby; great grandchildren, Silas Beck, Laila Mann and Kellen Crosby and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, son-in-law Jeff Stoll, one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be Sunday February 3 from 2-5 pm at the Hosmer-Muhlig Funeral Chapel, Dexter.
Funeral services will be held on Monday February 4 at 10:00 am at the same location.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Dexter.
