Francis "Frank" Marion Daman

Daman, Francis “Frank” age 75 of Dexter died on November 2, 2015 surrounded by his family as a result of Prostate Cancer. Frank was born July 25, 1940 in Monroe, MI to parents George H. and Bessie (nee Snavely) Daman. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1958 and from Eastern Michigan University in 1969. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1962. Frank married Sarah Frances Corwin on August 1, 1964 and she survives. He worked as a Research Engineer at ERIM in Ann Arbor from 1973 until his retirement on July 1, 2003. He also worked for the Central Intelligence Agency from 1969-1973. Frank was an avid golfer, reader and loved to travel. Along with his wife Sarah, he is survived by his children Jennifer (Thomas) Andreoli and Jeffrey (Erika) Daman, grandchildren; Nicholas Palson, Ethan Andreoli, Alec Daman and Angelia Daman and his brother James A. Daman of Modesto, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 10:00AM until time of service at 11:30 at the Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 3410 Broad St., Dexter, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to Prostate Cancer Research, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401 or to a local Animal Rescue Center of donor’s choice.
