James passed away December 12, 2022 at the age of 61. He is survived by his four siblings Sean (Sara), Daniel (Maya), Maureen (Mark), and Patrick, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by, and loved, his 3 aunts; Rosemary Kelly, and Sheila and Kay McAlinden.
James “Jimmy” graduated from Stevenson High School in Livonia and Eastern Michigan University. Jimmy was an accomplished amateur car mechanic and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a great lover of nature and animals. His spare time was spent camping, fishing, kayaking, and bicycling, almost always accompanied by his beloved dog and companion, Millie. He was an avid gardener, generously sharing his vegetable harvest every year.
He was a kind and devoted caretaker to his parents in their later years. Jimmy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Michigan Humane Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in his honor.
