

After a courageous two-year battle with cancer, Kevin passed away Tuesday, September 7, at the home he lovingly renovated with his wife of 26 years, Lori Tucker-Sullivan. Born October 14, 1960 in San Mateo, CA to Richard and Chris Sullivan. Kevin was a loving husband, father, brother, son and friend. On July 27, 1984 he married Lori Tucker and she survives. He received his MBA from the University of Michigan and worked in the field of purchasing and supply chain management. He was very proud of his work with Ford Motor Company, including the development of projects with Sirius Radio and the Sync system. He presently worked for Eaton Aerospace. Kevin also coached youth basketball and his daughter’s Dexter community softball team. He was an active member of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Ann Arbor, a member of the 7th Circle of Men, an advisor to the YRUU youth group, and a founding member of the Men’s Council. He was the proud father of Austin and Madeleine. In addition to his wife and children, Kevin is survived by his mother Mary Christina Sullivan, brothers Ron Sullivan (Maryann) and Daniel Sullivan (Becky Erickson), and sisters Kathleen Sullivan and Maureen Sullivan (Chuck Hyde); mother-in-law Thelma Tucker, brother-in-law Ralph Tucker (Carolyn), and sisters-in-law Barbara Liske (Dennis), Sandy Morgan-Sweet (Dennis); nephews Jeff Tucker (Kelly), Jason and Lucas Pagac, Mitchell Wolski, Alex Hyde, Jack Sullivan, and nieces Melissa Tucker (Jon), Angela Edgar (Chad), Amanda Ryan (Slade), Rebecca and Lauren Liske, Ellen Hyde and Kate Sullivan, as well as several aunts and uncles. Kevin was preceded in death by his father Richard Sullivan. Kevin shared much of his experiences of the past two years through his blog on CarePages, greatly enriching those who followed his cancer treatment. A celebration of Kevin’s life will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Ann Arbor, 4001 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. with the Rev. Nancy Shaffer officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sullivan Family Fund c/o Bank of America (envelopes will be available at the church).
