On March, 16, 2012, Mary Boullion began her everlasting dance in heaven, with her loving husband John. She died peacefully at the age of 86. She was born March 2, 1926, in Turton, SD, the daughter of Kathleen (Imm) and Joseph Klapperich. Mary Klapperich was united in marriage to John Boullion on September 19, 1944. They raised 8 children and 24 foster children at their home on N. Terriorial Rd, in Dexter, MI, where they also established Boullion Sales & Service. Mary graduated from nursing school at age fifty and was a caring nurse for over fifteen years. After retirement, Mary and John spent 18 winters together in Weslaco, TX, in addition to traveling across the country in their Winnebago motorhome. Mary enjoyed spending time with her large family (especially at their annual hotel Christmas party), watching her sons and grandsons wrestle, cheering on her favorite sports teams, volunteering for several organizations (too many to list), and celebrating any & all holidays. She was a very involved member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was the director of the Dexter Senior Center and one of the founders of Amigos de los Ninos de Mexico. She is survived by seven of her children: Ed & Leann Boullion, Sam Boullion, Jane & Roger Boyce, Marcee & Frank Bobo, Sally Koch, Beth & Richard Chamberlain, Rita & Mike Campbell. 16 grandchildren: Jennifer Bobo (Tom) Schupbach, Channon Boullion, John (Krista) Bobo, Philip (Marie) Boullion, Ben (Jen) Boyce, Adam (Annie) Boullion, Bekah Boyce Murphree, Sierra Koch, Jake (Sarah) Boyce, Sam Koch, Cabrina Koch, Jessica Boullion (Adam) Nicholl, Michael Campbell, Corey Chamberlain, Travis Campbell and Shawn Chamberlain. And 14 great grandchildren: Max & Abby Schupbach, Luke, Ada & Ella Bobo, Noah, Cameron & Colby Boyce, Mara Boullion, Reagan & Claire Murphree, Elin, Adelle, & David Boyce. She is also survived by her sister Dorthy & Howard Zeck, brother Butch & Diane Klapperich, and many loving nieces & nephews. Mary spent her final years in Weslaco, TX and Cranbrook Towers with her many close friends, including Ferni and Craig. She was proceeded in death by her husband John, her parents, her brothers Jim and Jack Klapperich, her daughter Carol Boullion, her son-in-law Larry Koch, and her granddaughter Kaitlyn Campbell. The family will receive friends at the village St. Joseph Church on Dover St, Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in the evening from 6-7pm and a memorial service in celebration of her life beginning at 7pm. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 11am at the Village St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dexter with Fr. Brendan Walsh presiding.
