Phillip Dymtro Blossom died surrounded by family and friends on October 23, 2013, at the Arbor Hospice Residence, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was diagnosed with cancer and died suddenly, not long after.
Phillip was born August 22, 1948 to Gardner E. and Mary (Salamin) Blossom. He graduated from Dexter High School, and is remembered for his kindness, and his friendly nature. He was loved by everyone who knew him, and is missed every day.
He is survived by his partner, Jennifer Shirilla, brother Clifford Blossom, son Duane Blossom, daughter Goia Blossom, and grandchildren Brenda and Jenna Blossom.
He has joined both his parents in the arms of the Lord, as well as his brothers, Richard and Gary.
A memorial has already taken place, but memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
