Raymond R. Wilson

Raymond Wilson age 86 of Dexter, passed away at Legacy Assisted Living in Jackson, MI. He was born August 6, 1924 in Hazel Park , Michigan . He was a retired bricklayer and a member of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Local 14. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy World War II and the American Legion Post 557. He married Gloria Marsh on July 27, 1946 at Bethlehem Church in Ann Arbor . She preceded him in death in June 2009. He is survived by two daughters, Susan Wilson of Chelsea and Debra Wilson of Ypsilanti and two grandchildren, Kelly McDonald of Ann Arbor and Steven McDonald of Chelsea . He is survived by a brother, James (Annette) Wilson of Brighton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, mother and father, his sister Margery Hayes, and four brothers, John, Richard, Earl, and Ross. The viewing will be held at Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Monday, April 11th, where the family will receive friends from 4-8 pm. The funeral service will take place Tuesday at 11 am. at the Webster Church of Christ, Dexter, with Reverend Curt DeMars-Johnson presiding.
