Sorry this came so late, but I just found it.

For those who knew Roger (and his strong grip) knew what an asset he was to our Rolling Thunder. He was truly one of the “Good Guys” a great Veteran and good friend to everyone he met, he will be solely missed.

May he rest in peace.

Roger was one of the great characters I have been blessed to know in my life. Always in a good mood and was ever supportive. I was lucky to have known him.

Daryl, Kevin and Melinda:
My condolences today to all of you. I will remember Roger in many pleasant ways. The trips to the chicken restaurant, the theater with the pipe organ and the buffet in Ann Arbor to name a few. His sense of humor was the best! Remember when he and Kevin got in the back of the camper when it was not attached to the hitch on the car and tipped it up in the air???
We have our memories of the past to carry to the future. I am thankful to have had time with Roger.

Great memories of hanging out with Rog during Daryl's basketball games, at the house eating Mom's homemade dumplings by the dozen and watching Daryl wrestle Billy the Goat, camping and fishing in Manistee. You Dittmers have been blessed to have had very cool parents.
